Doctors track how brain tumor treatment affects daily life
NCT ID NCT02565433
Summary
This study aimed to understand how radiosurgery treatment affects the quality of life of patients with brain metastases. Fifty-two patients with up to five brain tumors answered detailed questionnaires about their physical, mental, and cognitive well-being before treatment and for a year afterward. The research tracked changes in daily life, mood, and thinking abilities to see if the treatment helped patients feel better while managing their cancer.
