NCT ID NCT07412002
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 30, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at how well children with cancer are cared for at the end of life. Researchers will review medical records and talk to parents of about 1,190 children who have passed away. The goal is to understand what factors lead to better or worse care, so future families can receive more support.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this study could help doctors identify children at risk of poor end-of-life care and suggest ways to improve support for families.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial, so it won't directly change care. Results depend on accurate data from medical records and parent reports.
