First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This early-stage study tested whether a new quadrivalent influenza vaccine with an adjuvant is safe for adults aged 65 and older. About 80 older adults took part, and researchers monitored them for side effects over 12 months. The goal was to see if the vaccine causes any immediate or long-term reactions, not yet to measure how well it prevents the flu.
