New stroke drug shows promise in helping patients recover faster
NCT ID NCT07396337
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new drug called QHRD106 in people who have had a recent ischemic stroke (a stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel in the brain). The goal is to see if the drug can help patients recover better and have less disability. About 320 adults aged 18 to 80 who have not received standard clot-busting treatment will receive either the drug or a placebo within 24 hours of their stroke. The main measure of success is how many patients can function independently 90 days later.
