Experimental cell therapy injected into spine to fight advanced brain cancer

NCT ID NCT06592092

Summary

This small, early-stage study tested a new cell therapy called QH104 for patients with advanced solid tumors that had spread to the lining of the brain (meninges). The therapy involved injecting specially engineered immune cells directly into the spinal fluid to try to attack the cancer. The main goal was to see if this approach was safe and showed any signs of helping 3-6 patients who had run out of standard treatment options.
