Summary
This study is testing whether a natural supplement called Pycnogenol, made from French maritime pine bark, can help reduce the severity of Gulf War Illness symptoms like fatigue, pain, and brain fog. Researchers believe the illness involves inflammation and that this botanical may help. The 12-month study involves 20 veterans from across the US who will try different doses or a placebo, mailed to their homes, while tracking their symptoms weekly.
