Scientists search for hidden clues in joint tissue to tame rare, painful disease
NCT ID NCT07503821
Summary
This study aims to better understand pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS), a rare condition that causes painful joint swelling and damage. Researchers will collect and analyze small tissue samples from the affected joints of 30 adult patients to see if specific features in the tissue can predict how the disease will progress or respond to treatment. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to more personalized care in the future.
