First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at how doing push-ups with different levels of blood flow restriction (using bands to partially limit arm circulation) affects upper body explosive power in 30 young volleyball players. Participants performed push-ups under various conditions, and their throwing distance and ball speed were measured. The goal was to understand if this technique can temporarily enhance performance.
