First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at two ways to close the skin after children have surgery to reverse a stoma. One method uses a purse-string stitch, and the other uses a straight line closure. The goal is to see which method leads to fewer infections and better-looking scars. About 50 children will take part, and results will be checked at 30 days and 3 months after surgery.
