Bedside device aims to stop midnight stumbles

NCT ID NCT05090722

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether a device called PureWick can help manage frequent nighttime urination (nocturia) in older women. The device allows users to urinate while staying in bed, with the goal of reducing the need to get up at night, which could lower the risk of falls and improve sleep. Researchers will follow 40 participants for 3 months to see if the device reduces bathroom trips and improves quality of life.
