New surgical patch tested to stop dangerous bleeding in aorta operations

Summary
This study is observing how well a special patch called PuraBond works to control bleeding during open surgery to repair the main artery in the abdomen (the aorta). It will include 100 adult patients in Italy who need this surgery for a bulging or blocked aorta. Doctors will apply the patch during surgery and measure how quickly bleeding stops.
