First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looked at 30 men who take prostate medication and were scheduled for cataract surgery. Researchers used a special eye scan to measure the thickness of iris muscles, to see if it could predict a complication called Intraoperative Floppy Iris Syndrome (IFIS). The goal was to find a way to better prepare for surgery and reduce risks.
