New Heart-Zapping tech aims to tame dangerous irregular heartbeats

NCT ID NCT06676072

Summary

This study is testing the safety and effectiveness of a new medical device system for treating a specific type of irregular heartbeat called paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AFib). The system uses a special catheter and generator to deliver pulsed electrical energy (ablation) to heart tissue. The goal is to control the AFib in people whose symptoms are not helped enough by medications.
