Scientists put new oxygen monitor to the test
NCT ID NCT05807464
Summary
This study aimed to check how well a new type of pulse oximeter works. Pulse oximeters are the small clip-on devices that measure blood oxygen levels without a needle. Researchers tested it on 12 healthy adults by having them breathe different oxygen mixtures while at rest, comparing the device's readings to blood samples and heart monitors.
