Scientists put Finger-Clip monitors to the test: how well do they work when You're moving?

NCT ID NCT04814342

Summary

This study aimed to check how accurate a new model of pulse oximeter is when people are moving. Pulse oximeters are the small clip-on devices that measure blood oxygen and heart rate without a needle. Researchers tested the device on 5 healthy adults while they performed controlled movements and breathed different levels of oxygen to see how closely the device's readings matched blood samples and heart monitors.
