First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at how two different heart-lung pumps affect vital organs like the brain, heart, lungs, and kidneys during open-heart surgery in children. About 300 kids will take part at one hospital. The goal is to see if a pump that sends blood in pulses is better than one that sends blood continuously.
