Ear test explores pulsatile tinnitus clues
NCT ID NCT06290999
First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at 36 adults with pulsatile tinnitus (a rhythmic sound in the ear) to see if a special ear measurement called multifrequency impedancemetry could detect changes related to the condition. Researchers measured how the ear responds to different sound frequencies and tested the effect of neck compression. The goal was to better understand the condition, not to test a treatment.
