NCT ID NCT06936553

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looked at 51 people with healthy teeth, mild tooth inflammation (reversible pulpitis), or severe tooth inflammation (irreversible pulpitis). Researchers collected samples from the tooth pulp, gum fluid, and dentin to measure three chemicals (IL-8, FGF-1, VEGF) linked to inflammation. The goal was to see if these markers differ between groups, which could help dentists diagnose pulpitis more accurately in the future.
