First seen Nov 24, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a nerve block injection (SGB) to standard talk therapy (CPT) can better reduce PTSD symptoms. 270 adults with PTSD will receive either both treatments, CPT plus a placebo injection, or SGB alone. The goal is to see if the combination leads to greater and longer-lasting symptom relief over 6 months.
