New strategy aims to stop veterans from quitting PTSD therapy

NCT ID NCT06957067

Summary

This study aims to help veterans with PTSD get the most out of their therapy. It tests two methods to spot when someone is struggling with their current treatment and then compares two ways to help them: using special skills from their current therapy or discussing a switch to a different, less demanding therapy. The goal is to help more people complete treatment and see better improvements in their PTSD symptoms, depression, and daily functioning.
