First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at how many adults with type 1 diabetes have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) related to their diagnosis or severe low blood sugar episodes. Researchers surveyed 297 adults in France using a standard PTSD checklist. The goal was to find out how often this hidden emotional burden occurs, not to test a new treatment.
