Summary

This study aims to understand how PTSD affects the brain and genes, and how these change as people recover through therapy. Researchers will use brain scans and genetic tests to observe 130 adults with PTSD before and after they complete Cognitive Processing Therapy. The goal is to learn why therapy works for some people and to potentially identify biological markers linked to recovery.
