First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 04, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether two easy tests—checking how blood pressure changes when standing and how the eye reacts to light—can predict if a person with PTSD will respond well to the medication prazosin. The goal is to personalize PTSD treatment by identifying who is most likely to benefit from this drug. The study involves 87 U.S. military veterans with PTSD and is currently in Phase 3.
