Study probes link between mood drugs and senior falls

Summary

This study follows 398 older adults (60+) after they leave the hospital to see if taking psychotropic medications—drugs that affect mood or mental state—raises their risk of falling. Researchers will also track whether falls lead to broken bones. The goal is to better understand this connection to help prevent injuries.
