Summary
This study tested whether interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT) works as well as proven therapies like prolonged exposure and relaxation for people with chronic post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Researchers enrolled 110 adults with at least moderately severe PTSD. The goal was to see if IPT could reduce PTSD symptoms and help more people achieve remission.
