Study reveals gap between what psychologists think they know and what they actually know
NCT ID NCT05421637
Summary
This study surveyed over 1,500 psychology students across Latin America to understand their knowledge and perceptions of evidence-based practice. Researchers used an online questionnaire to measure how familiar students were with proven treatment methods and how often they used them. The goal was to identify gaps between what students believe they know and their actual understanding of effective, research-backed psychological care.
