First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether a detailed, easy-to-understand explanation of a functional neurological movement disorder helps patients better grasp their condition and feel more satisfied with their care. About 35 adults with conditions like functional paralysis or tremors will receive a special diagnosis conversation and then answer questionnaires. The goal is to improve how doctors communicate and to learn more about brain function through MRI scans.
