NCT ID NCT07479927
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether online cognitive training and mindfulness can help children aged 8-18 who had leukemia and received intensive treatments like CAR-T therapy, chemotherapy, or a stem cell transplant. Forty participants will do brain exercises and mindfulness sessions from home over 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in thinking skills, emotional health, and brain activity to see if these programs aid recovery.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
digital cognitive training and online mindfulness-based intervention
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a practical, home-based way to help children recover thinking skills and emotional well-being after tough leukemia treatments.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 40 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The interventions are behavioral, so benefits may be modest and depend on adherence.
