Psoriasis pill showdown: which works better?

NCT ID NCT07261306

Summary

This study compares two existing oral medications—methotrexate and tofacitinib—to see which is more effective at reducing psoriasis symptoms. It involves 75 adults with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis that hasn't responded well to creams and ointments. Researchers will measure how much each medication reduces skin redness, thickness, and scaling over 12 weeks of treatment.
