First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at 60 men with suspected prostate cancer to see if a newer type of scan (PSMA PET/CT) works better than MRI for guiding a prostate biopsy. The goal was to find out which method helps doctors spot more aggressive cancers. Results could lead to more accurate diagnoses with fewer unnecessary biopsies.
