Timing is everything: study aims to perfect prostate cancer scan schedule

Summary

This study aims to understand how hormone therapy changes what doctors see on a special prostate cancer scan (PSMA PET). Researchers will track 80 men with prostate cancer, taking scans before treatment and again 8 and 28 days after starting hormone therapy. The goal is to learn the best time to do these scans to get the most accurate picture of the cancer.
