New study tests PSMA PET scan as crystal ball for prostate cancer outcomes

Summary
This study is testing whether a special type of PET scan (PSMA PET) can predict how prostate cancer will progress in people who are newly diagnosed and have not yet had any treatment. Researchers will follow 1000 participants for at least 2 years to see if the scan results can forecast cancer growth or spread. The goal is to create a new tool to help doctors make better treatment decisions.
