First seen Dec 09, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether combining PSMA PET scans with machine learning can accurately determine how aggressive a prostate cancer is, without needing repeated invasive biopsies. Researchers will scan 220 men with suspected or known prostate cancer and use AI to predict the cancer's Gleason score. If successful, this approach could reduce biopsies, improve treatment decisions, and help identify patients who might benefit from targeted therapy.
