New scan could reveal hidden cancer tumors
NCT ID NCT05547919
Summary
This study is testing whether a special PET scan that looks for a protein called PSMA can better detect and track gastrointestinal cancers. Researchers will scan 46 newly diagnosed patients to see if this method finds more cancer spots than standard scans and if it helps predict how the disease will progress. The goal is to improve cancer detection and potentially guide future targeted treatments.
