Summary
This pilot study tests whether psilocybin (magic mushrooms) or ketamine, combined with talk therapy, can help men aged 25-65 with moderate to severe alcohol use disorder drink less. Twenty participants will receive one of the two treatments and be tracked for changes in drinking habits and brain activity. The goal is to gather early data on which approach works better for controlling alcohol cravings and consumption.
