Summary
This study is testing whether combining psilocybin (the active compound in 'magic mushrooms') with talk therapy can help people with depression. Researchers will enroll 50 adults with major depression to compare two different therapy approaches alongside two psilocybin sessions. The goal is to see if this combination is practical, acceptable to patients, and effective at reducing depression symptoms.
