Summary
This early-stage study tests whether repeated doses of psilocybin, the active ingredient in magic mushrooms, can reduce symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). About 28 adults with severe OCD who haven't improved with standard treatments will receive psilocybin or be placed on a waitlist. Researchers will measure changes in OCD and depression symptoms using standard rating scales.
