First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This early-stage study will test whether a single dose of psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) combined with talk therapy is a safe and practical way to help women with long-term pelvic pain. Fifteen women aged 18–45 who have not gotten relief from standard treatments will take part. The main goal is to see if women will join and stay in the study, and to check for any side effects.
