Summary
This study tested whether a single high dose of psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms), given with psychological support, could help people with alcohol use disorder reduce their heavy drinking. 60 adults in Denmark participated. The main goal was to see if the treatment lowered the number of heavy drinking days over 28 days.
