Scientists probe magic Mushroom's brain rewiring power
NCT ID NCT06692192
Summary
This study aims to understand how psilocybin, the active compound in 'magic mushrooms,' might help the brain adapt and change, and how that relates to feelings of wellbeing. Researchers will test different doses on 60 adults who report feeling slightly down but do not have a diagnosed mood disorder. They will use brain scans and questionnaires to measure changes in mood, thinking, and brain activity.
