New support model aims to give voice to advanced breast cancer patients

Summary

This study looks at whether a specially trained support coordinator can help women with advanced or high-risk breast cancer feel heard and understood. About 28 women will take part in this pilot program at the National Cancer Centre Singapore. The coordinator will provide emotional support and help patients share their values and priorities with their medical team.
