Prune juice study aims to ease constipation in seniors

Summary
This study looks at how different amounts of prune juice affect bowel movements, constipation symptoms, and quality of life in older adults living in long-term care. About 90 people aged 65 to 100 with constipation will drink 100, 150, or 200 mL of prune juice daily for four weeks. The goal is to find a safe and effective dose to help manage constipation without medication.
