New radiation therapy shows promise against hard-to-treat gut and pancreas cancers

Summary
This study tests a new type of radiation therapy (PRRT with 177Lu-Edotreotide) against a standard targeted drug (everolimus) in people with advanced neuroendocrine tumors that have spread and can't be removed by surgery. About 324 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. The main goal is to see which treatment better delays tumor growth or death.
