Blood-Based injection trial offers hope for stubborn tennis elbow pain

Summary
This study is testing whether injections of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from a patient's own blood can relieve pain and improve function in people with chronic tennis elbow. Researchers will compare two different PRP preparations against a placebo saline injection in 240 adults whose symptoms haven't improved with other treatments. Participants will receive one ultrasound-guided injection and be followed for up to two years to see which approach works best.
