Could a simple blood injection ease Menopause's painful symptoms?

NCT ID NCT06028009

Summary

This study is testing whether injecting a concentrated solution made from a person's own blood (platelet-rich plasma or PRP) into the vaginal wall can improve sexual function and reduce vaginal dryness in menopausal women. Researchers are enrolling 30 women with genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) to compare the PRP injection against a placebo. The goal is to see if this treatment can safely help relieve these common and bothersome symptoms.
