First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests whether injecting platelet-rich plasma (a concentrated part of your own blood) into the vocal folds can improve voice quality and daily life for people with vocal fold sulcus, scar, or atrophy. About 48 participants aged 10 and older will receive the injection and be followed for several months. The goal is to see if this simple procedure can ease symptoms and restore a clearer, stronger voice.
