First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tested whether a one-time injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the vaginal wall and around the clitoris could improve sexual function in sexually active women. Fifty-two women received either the PRP injection or a placebo and filled out questionnaires about their sexual satisfaction before and after the procedure. The goal was to see if the treatment leads to better sexual satisfaction compared to a placebo.
