First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from the patient's own bone marrow to standard hip labral repair surgery leads to better pain relief and function. About 400 adults with hip labral tears will be randomly assigned to receive surgery with or without PRP. The goal is to see if PRP helps the joint heal and delays arthritis.
