First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the shoulder, combined with a personalized exercise program, provides better and longer-lasting pain relief than standard steroid injections. About 86 adults aged 35-75 with chronic shoulder pain from rotator cuff tendinopathy will participate. The goal is to see if PRP offers a safer, more durable option for managing this common condition.
