NCT ID NCT01492972
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at two treatments for men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer that hasn't spread. One group gets proton beam radiation alone (28 sessions), and the other gets the same radiation plus hormone therapy. The goal is to see if adding hormones helps keep the cancer from coming back or spreading. About 192 men will take part, and researchers will track side effects and quality of life.
